Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is an important Hindu festival which celebrates the relationship of brother and sister. This year there has been some confusion on the exact date of Rakhi, with some pandits saying that Rakhi is on 20th August as it is the full moon day, while some saying that though it is full moon day the auspicious time to tie rakhi is after 8.30 p.m and since these festivals should be celebrated in morning, hence rakhi should be celebrated on 21st August.
